Abstract

The objective of this paper is to provide an indication about future trends in knowledge management. For this purpose a total of more than 380 papers submitted to the I-KNOW conference during the last three years were analyzed at different levels. This paper presents the methodology used which in addition to an intellectual analysis is also comprised of a computer-supported knowledge discovery analysis. The main insights gained by the analysis are that knowledge discovery, knowledge representation and knowledge distribution & sharing belong to the most intriguing topics of current and future research in knowledge management.
