Abstract

The article presents the authors’ proposals on the use of an integrated knowledge management system in the activities of higher educational institutions with the purpose to increase their efficiency both in the educational process and in the related spheres. Since an important role is played by information and communication technologies, the prospects of their application in the system of higher education are also considered in this work.

Besides, the work presents the results of a polling survey of students of the Financial University in the Google-form system on the prospects of applying new information and communication technologies in the contemporary higher economic education.

In the opinion of the majority of the respondents, for significant advancement in the world top universities rankings, certain changes are required in the integrated system of information and communication technologies for teaching economic disciplines, including the expanded application of online educational technologies, augmented reality goggles, mobile applications, robots, etc.
