Servitization Strategy

Part of the book series: Palgrave Executive Essentials ((PEE))

Abstract

Summarising the arguments and results currently available, Chapter 6 takes the position of an industrial firm seeking to compete through services by reducing dependency on product-centric business models. Compelling evidence suggests servitization can help firms become more resilient to competition, navigate economic disruptions effectively, and contribute to sustainability by supporting resource efficiency, circular economy, and dematerialisation.
