Abstract

Over the past few years, several desktop and web-based applications, have been designed and developed for use by both doctors, healthcare professionals and patients. Indeed, the healthcare sector can benefit from the solutions offered by modern technologies. Web 3.0 in health will have the same characteristics as other platforms (connected database, interoperability between web apps, etc.). In fact, Web 3.0 is considered to be the combination of artificial intelligence and the semantic web. It is therefore essential to migrate legacy healthcare applications to the Web 3.0 platform. The migration of these applications to a new technology requires three main aspects: data access, business logic and graphical user interface (GUI). To address this need, we propose a reverse engineering approach to transform web apps into modern applications that meet current requirements especially the electronic medical record management systems. The MDD process incorporates standard meta-models which represent the information in a platform-independent way, and it integrates the technologies whose role is to add the modern aspects supported by the Web 3.0 platform.
