Abstract

In this paper research, we have tried to modulate and analyze the real impact of the quality of institutions on economic growth through a dynamic panel data analysis. Indeed, Stata Wu-Hausman’s test revealed that the fixed effect model is the most appropriate model for our case study. Hence, econometric findings showed that, for all other things being equal, there is a positive and significant nexus between the quality of institutions and economic growth (p < 5%).

The results obtained confirm that the quality of the institutional environment can have a stimulating effect on economic growth. In this context, policymakers should implement policies that strengthen these institutions in order to expect sustainable economic growth.
