Abstract
Several decades ago, the new technologies burst into the classrooms of education. Since then, studies have shown the benefits of the use of ICT in learning processes; however, a large percentage of teachers do not implement the use of digital tools in their subjects, making classes to be developed with orthodox methods such as rote learning or repetition; without achieving meaningful learning. For that reason, some students do not develop adequate critical thinking, a good analysis of information with reflective moments that lead them to build new ideas. In this investigation, a pre-experimental design was used and the type of investigation was explanatory. 39 students of the third cycle of a Peruvian university participated. In the pre-test, 48.7% obtained a regular level in the achievement of their learning, and in the post-test, the results improved significantly, reaching 81.1% in the good level. This reveals that after the application of the emerging digital transformation model for teaching strategies in Education 4.0, students had greater skills and abilities to achieve significant learning, demonstrating the validity of the proposed model.
