Abstract
This chapter introduces readers to the content and format of the text. It previews the chapters of the book and discusses how various readers can best utilize information in the book. For example, the chapter discusses the chapters and topics that students, researchers, and practitioners can use to inform their views and understanding of rivalry. Further, the chapter seeks to peak interest in the study of rivalry and group behavior in readers and welcomes readers to the wonderful journey of investigating and better understanding group behavior.
