Abstract

Sacroiliac joint arthritis is a typical finding in ankyolsing spondylitis and spondylarthropathies. Early diagnosis is essential for adequate treatment and prevention of joint destruction or fusion. In this chapter we describe and discuss the value of the different imaging modalities illustrated with examples and focus on MRI and bone scan/SPECT/CT.
