Abstract
Tolectin is an anti-inflammatory agent. It has analgesic and antipyretic activity. Although the mechanism of its anti-inflammatory action is not known, Tolectin inhibits prostaglandin synthetase in vitro and lowers the plasma level of prostaglandin E in humans.
