Abstract

It is a great pleasure for me to be in Erice for this meeting in honour of Professor Peter Bergmann and to present the status of the experiments for the search of gravitational waves. These experiments play a crucial role for the definite experimental proof of the gravitational field theory, developed in the framework of General Relativity. This is important for integrating the gravity with the other fundamental interactions, that are based on field theories.
