Abstract
Sustaining an adequate milk volume is difficult for mothers of very-low-birth-weight (≤ 1,500 g) infants who must use a breast pump long term. A comfortable, effective, and efficient pump facilitates efforts of mothers, and may result in a greater volume of milk.
