Abstract

Human infection with various helminth parasites still remains as one of the most important public health problems in many developing countries. Among various types of helminthiasis, soil-transmitted helminths (geohelminths), because of their wide distribution and high prevalence among a large proportion of the world’s population and their damaging effects, constitute one of the most important infections and diseases.
