BAFF (B cell activating factor)

TNF receptor ligand, which among other proteins regulates B cell proliferation and differentiation. Autoreactive B cell survival is regulated by BAFF‐dependent protein kinase, PKCδ, which phosphorylates serine 14 in histone H2B (Mecklenbräuker I et al 2004 Nature [Lond] 431:456).
