Abstract

The paper will focus on modern control design techniques applied on a two axis robot with synchronous servo drives. PID and fuzzy controllers are designed by means of Evolution Strategies. The implementation will also run on a 80C166 microcontroller board in connection with a DSP extension (ADSP 2111).
