Abstract
Knowledge Based Decision Support Systems (KB-DSS) have achieved maturity in theory and practice. In a KB-DSS development environment the separation of modelling and interface specification should be done in the right way. We wish to provide a tool which will allow present spread sheet users and KB-DSS professional designers to implement easily more advanced application of the KB-DSS type which are impossible to implement with standard DSS or spread sheet technology. We also wish to provide professional designers with a tool to improve their productivity when they are required to develop the application because users often wish to delegate this task. We are interested here to support the task of KB-DSS design by a development environment which is integrated. It is the same system which support the interface design and the modeling. Interface design and modeling being two subtasks of KB-DSS design.
