The phenomenon of reflection of an electron wave in resonant propagation through periodic structures of finite length with two barriers in the periodicity cell has been investigated in relation to the parameters of the potential barriers. It has been shown that for a mirror-symmetric periodic structure this reflection is accompanied by a collapse of unit-transparency resonance peaks. A numerical calculation of the spectra of transmission coefficients and electron density of quasi-resonance states has been performed.
