The new oral immunomodulating drug DiNAC induces brachial artery vasodilatation at rest and during hyperemia in hypercholesterolemic subjects, likely by a nitric oxide-dependent mechanism
2008, AtherosclerosisCitation Excerpt :We have previously shown the reproducibility (CV) to be 3% for baseline brachial artery diameter and 29% for FMD. Three colour flow cytometry analysis was performed as previously described [36]. Briefly, staining was performed for 30 min on ice on whole blood, with monoclonal antibodies to CD3, CD4, CD8, CD11b, CD14, CD16, CD20, CD25, CD38, CD40, CD62L, HLA-DR (BectonDickinson, Erembogem, Belgium), CD45RA, CD45RO (Dakopatts, Glostrup, Denmark) and CD40L (Ancell, MN, USA).
