Interleukin-1 family in Behçet’s disease: Inflammatory and antiinflammatory mediators
2023, Translational Autoimmunity: Volume 6: Advances in Autoimmune Rheumatic DiseasesThe IL-1 family in tumorigenesis and antitumor immunity
2022, Seminars in Cancer BiologyCitation Excerpt :The sharing of receptors arises from the fact that IL-18 and IL-37 have very similar tertiary structures [72,73]. Both IL-18 [74,85] and IL-37 [86] bind to the decoy receptor IL-18BP, serving as an antagonist to both cytokines. IL-18 [87] and IL-37 [88] also bind to the membrane receptor IL-18RA with low affinity; the cytokines bind with high affinity to fully formed receptor complexes IL-18RA/IL-18RB [89] and IL-18RA/IL-1R8 [90] respectively.
